FLAVOR IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SHIPMENT
All Torie & Howard hard candy is organic, Non-GMO and kosher.
NEW MILFORD, Conn., Oct. 2 2014 – Torie & Howard’s new organic, Non-GMO Meyer Lemon & Raspberry flavor now is available for shipment. The new flavor was announced at the 2014 Summer Fancy Food Show.
Meyer Lemon & Raspberry extends Torie & Howard’s line of organic, Non-GMO and kosher hard candy to five flavors. Its flavor profile is light, bright and clean and has a delicate balance of sweet and tart due to slightly sweeter and somewhat floral tartness of Meyer lemons and fresh berry sweetness of raspberries, said Torie Burke, company co-founder.
The bright, clean taste of the new flavor is reflected in its sunny yellow 2-ounce recyclable steel tins punctuated with bright berry red, leafy green, and Torie & Howard’s signature cerulean blue, said Torie Burke, company co-founder.The Meyer Lemon & Raspberry candy is crafted with natural flavors, and the jewel-shaped candy gets its color naturally as well from red cabbage, purple carrots, and organic carrot, apple and blackcurrant, she said. The candy is USDA organic and kosher certified and contains no GMOs, preservatives, artificial dyes, casein, soy or gluten. Each candy is just 12 calories.
Other Torie & Howard organic hard candy flavors include California Pomegranate and Sweet Freestone Nectarine, Italian Tarocco Blood Orange & Wildflower Honey, D’Anjou Pear & Ceylon Cinnamon, and Pink Grapefruit & Tupelo Honey.
